Trauma-informed care · rooted in culture

Support built on lived experience, not just theory.

KAHSHE brings together clinical practice, Caribbean heritage, and three decades inside the NHS to offer trauma-informed mental health support, mentorship, and organisational consulting for people and institutions navigating real change.

Our purpose

Support that grows with you, at every stage of life

KAHSHE exists to provide trauma-informed, culturally-grounded mental health and wellbeing support for people at every stage of life — from early childhood through to later adulthood — navigating developmental transitions, institutional barriers, and the challenges that systems often overlook. We combine clinical experience, community wisdom, and a belief in long-term relationships over quick fixes.

1 storyLived experience behind every service

I built KAHSHE from the parts of my own story I once tried to hide — an undiagnosed difference, a career interrupted, a faith that held when little else did. If any of that helps someone else navigate their own chapter with more compassion than I was shown, then it was worth telling.
